Back to December 31st now and China Southern
acquired China Northern,
its subsidiaries Beiya Airlines, China Northern Swan & Xinjiang Airlines in 2004.
A name change next and and a change from one colourful livery to another when BWIA
became Caribbean Airlines in 2006.
2007 saw Aeroflot retiring it's last Tupolev Tu-134 after 40 years in service.
