A big jump in time now to find a rather short lived project in Colombia as SAM, ACES and Avianca merged to form the Alianza Summa. However the venture folded a year later.
Another short lived airline although this one lasted a few more years. 2015 saw the commencement of operations of NokScoot. As the name suggests it was a joint venture between Singaporean Scoot and Thailands Nok Air. The airline folded in 2020.
